Photovoltaic Energy System IEC 61427

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61427 is a standard for photovoltaic (PV) energy systems. PV testing in lab is used to ensure the safety and quality of PV systems.

The standard defines the requirements for PV system testing, including:

  • the type of equipment used,
  • the test procedures,
  •  the acceptable limits for PV system performance.

This testing in testing lab defines the requirements for the design, installation and operation of photovoltaic energy systems.
